Judy started as an art major, but photography became
her primary interest. Her talent landed her a job with a
film production company in San Diego, representing
many major corporations. Going on to become Directory
of Photography, she assisted in the production of films
and videos. Among other awards, Judy won 2nd place in
the Nikon International Photo Contest, honorable
mention in the Annual Industrial Photography Contest
and Certificate of Award, for a picture of outstanding
merit, from the Southern California Motion Picture
Council. Later, in her travels, she visited Key West, FL,
a haven for artists, and was drawn to it’s beauty,
architecture, and mostly, the people. She relocated there
where she lived for 10 years, finally turning back to
painting again. Her paintings and photographs graced
many of the homes and guest houses in Key West and
prints, purchased by visitors, were taken back to their
homes all over the world. She combined her talent with
the artistic talents of David Klein and they produced two
highly successful art gallery shows with large digital art.
In 2004, Judy also produced a solo show at Stone Soup
Art Gallery, where 4 of 5 paintings sold the opening night.
She now continues to paint and photograph in Bradenton, Florida.
